If you wish to sponsor a child, please call us at (805) 938-5882 or email us at threshold@tmihope.org. In your email please include your name, contact information, the name of the child you wish to sponsor and any questions you may have. Once we receive your email we will contact you with more details regarding our child sponsorship program. The children on the waiting list identified as a "Hope House Child" live in our orphanage or are in need of moving into the orphanage and need a sponsor. When reading through the children's bios, please notice the date that is listed for how long the children have been waiting for sponsors. Many children wait for over a year and soon lose hope that they will ever be sponsored. They sometimes are forced to drop out of school and find a job at a very young age in order to support their families. Please consider the children who have been waiting the longest when choosing your child.

Can't afford to sponsor a child by yourself? Sponsor a child with a group of people, perhaps a Bible study group, Sunday school class, church congregation, at your workplace or with an organization. What a loving way to transform a child's life!

	All of our unsponsored children wait in hope of being chosen to become a part of the sponsorship program. Our Outreach Program provides school tuition and fees, clothing, daily hygiene supplies and supplemental food for the child and their family. The three children listed on this first page have been patiently waiting for over two years. Our prayer is that by the end of 2011 each of the children on this page will have found a sponsor. We have 16 more new children to add to this list once these children find sponsors. If you are unable to sponsor a child, we ask that you will pray for sponsors and for daily provision while they continue to wait.
	Li, Xinhai DOB 06/26/2000 Waiting Since 09/09 Li, Xinhai and his parents live with his grandparents. His grandfather is blind. His father suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and is unable to do heavy work. Both of his parents are farmers. This family of five struggles each and everyday. Xinhai loves school and tries to do his best. His parents find it difficult to afford the school tuition. Sponsorship will provide all school fees plus supplies. Xinhai will receive clothing, daily personal hygiene supplies and his family will be provided with supplemental food such as rice, flour, cooking oil and beans. Give him the chance to go to school and make a better life for himself. Threshold has so many stories of children just like Xinhai who lived a life of poverty and went on to graduate university!
	Men, Zhiru DOB 01/29/2002 Waiting Since 10/09 Men, Zhiru’s parents are farmers. She has an older sister who is in her last year of high school. Her parents find it very difficult to properly provide for their children with the little money they make from farming. It is very promising to see that her older sister is about to graduate high school. Many children from farming families end up leaving school to help on the farm. Men, Zhiru’s parents obviously know the value of an education and have sacrificed much to send their daughters to school. Sponsorship will provide all school fees plus supplies. Zhiru will receive clothing, daily personal hygiene supplies and her family will be provided with supplemental food such as rice, flour, cooking oil and beans. Sponsor her today and give her the chance to remain in school and make a better life for herself. Threshold has so many stories of children just like Zhiru who lived a life of poverty and went on to graduate university!
	Zhang, Ze DOB 06/27/2002 Waiting Since 10/09 Zhang, Ze’s parents are farmers. She and her parents live with her elderly grandparents whose health is failing and who have no retirement income. This family’s only source of income comes from selling the crops that they grow on their farm. They are very poor and need your help. Sponsorship will provide all school fees plus supplies. Zhangze will receive clothing, daily personal hygiene supplies and her family will be provided with supplemental food such as rice, flour, cooking oil and beans. Sponsor her today and give her the chance to go to school and make a better life for herself. An education can free her from a life of poverty!
