$35.00 per month sponsors a child living with family outside the orphanage. The monthly sponsorship fee enables Threshold to provide a sponsored child with tuition, books, clothing, and to provide enough food for the entire family. (It doesn't make sense for the child to be well-fed and not the family!)
$85.00 per month sponsors a child who lives and is cared for at Hope House for Children, our orphanage in Linjiang.
Hope House for Children "TMI Hope House" is a home for orphaned & abandoned children.

The orphanage can accommodate 72 children. The amount designated toward this fund is used for furnishings, toys, medical and educational supplies, etc.
Mission & Development
The amount designated toward this fund is used for TMI's operating expenses, including office rent, salaries, office supplies, postage, bank fees (incurred when transferring money to China), utility bills, and other unexpected emergency operating expenses. Threshold cannot operate without administrative funds. Your contributions to the Mission and Development fund are very important and are a great blessing to us.

Niu to You and Chickens Too! (Learn more about Niu to You and Chickens Too)
"Niu to You" is Threshold's project that provides a local family with a cow. ("Niu" in Mandarin means "cow.") For about $300 USD, one full-grown niu (pronounced "new") can be purchased. This program is unique in that the purchase of one cow eventually becomes a huge blessing to the local community.
How do you get protein to hungry Chinese children living in remote mountainous regions where there is no refrigeration? With Threshold's "Chickens Too" project you can make a donation that will provide a family 10 chicks and the corn to feed them!

The farm where we purchase our cows
Cows are given to needy families to help with heavy farm work, transportation, to provide milk, earn income from offspring etc.

Emergency Food Fund
Enables us to purchase and deliver food to families in need. Many times we find families or even entire villages who are in desperate need of food. With this fund in place we can provide immediate relief to hungry people.
In December 2006, through generous donations to our Emergency Food Fund,
we were able to provide needy families in Hong Tu Shan Village with rice, beans,
flour, and cooking oil which helped to provide for them during the harsh winter months.
